Caught Trout with a Dual Rod

From beginners to pros

The Mavrk Dual rod with the stinger M1 is my most used set up of all time. The M1 comes fully loaded with Mavrks tracer line, which is my favorite ESN line out on the market. This set up is ready to get you catching fish right out of the tube. As a guide in Pennsylvania I have seen everyone from beginners to pros catch on this set up.

Game Changer - Love It

2+ years fishing a Stinger M1 and it's my go-to for 90% of my days on the water. So light, simple, and versatile. I have one set up with a European-style mono rig for fishing local rivers. Have played and landed plenty of hard-fighting fish in big water and also late season skinny water. The Stinger M1 really shines on the longest days of fishing, so light, my casting arm stays fresh start to finish with sensitivity to detect those subtle takes I might otherwise miss.

FAQ

Micro Reels Questions

The Stinger fits all rods.

No. The Stinger is primarily used for tightline and Euro nymph techniques when catching freshwater trout or other fish where a drag system isn’t used.

Stripping line is always the best way to fight and land trout.

Yes. With practice you will wind as fast, or faster than a traditional reel.

About 60 to 80 feet of ESN line, leader and tippet.

The Stinger comes with the Mavrk Tracer 62- A complete euro nymph line/leader system.

The Stinger will hold 40 to 50 feet of 1 to 2wt floating line for fishing dry flies. WF lines are better because double taper lines are too thick.
