Performance First
It starts with the best graphite available. The MV-X rod blank uses premium Japanese Toray 46T Ultra high modulus carbon fiber. Due to its superior strength, the MV-X utilizes less material, which means lighter weight, more sensitivity and faster recovery.

The aggressive taper design (larger diameter butte section) of the MV-X provides moderate/fast action for pinpoint accuracy when casting small nymphs, along with huge power at the mid and base for casting heavier flies and steering larger trout.

Stealth Dark Finish
Black guides, black thread wraps, matte clear graphite finish, and a satin gunmetal gray reel seat all give the MV-X a handsome and stealthy look.
